Twice as Nice – I spotted Brie and Jennifer at a past Tribeca event and just had to get the scoop on their killer clutches by Edith A. Miller. Jennifer Murray (right) is one of the founders/designers along with Nancy Gibson (who was spotted at New York Fashion Week carrying their striped, heart shaped clutch). The duo met at a Fire Island party wearing the exact same striped T-shirt, found out they shared the same vision, came up with a line and talked a Pennsylvania Mill into jumping in with them. They’re known for their striped All-American knits and have a collaboration with J. Crew, with pieces that are nearly sold out, according to their Facebook.
Both clutches were made with incredibly soft cotton fabrics.

I should mention the great, um, skants Jennifer is sporting. I forget where she got them, but they’re pants that don’t break until well below the knee. And those patch pockets in front? So clever. Don’t think I didn’t notice Brie’s incredible silver metallic brogues, sort of like this pair I never got to take home last year, but still want for spring.
